The Birth of AITR. The biggest AI Code Reviewer.

For nearly 10 years, I’ve been managing teams, most of which were made up of developers. One recurring challenge that stood out was hearing leaders express their frustration over not fully understanding what developers were working on, or how to effectively manage technical projects. Early in my career, I started as a developer myself, which gave me a solid foundation and firsthand experience with the challenges tech teams face when working under non-technical managers.

These challenges often stem from a lack of clarity about what needs to be delivered (the infamous Definition of Done), poor insight into developer performance, and ineffective feedback that fails to offer concrete steps for improvement. It was clear to me that a solution was needed.

After an incredible conversation with my co-founders, Davi and Bruno, we decided it was time to do something about it. Together, we created AITR — a platform designed to bridge the gap between developers and managers, regardless of whether they come from a technical background or not.

The platform offers a global solution for code analysis using AI models that we’ve built. These models rank and provide insights on everything produced by a technical team, ensuring that any company working with code can better understand and improve their development processes.
